Today we started construction on our very own web page! Well let me start off by telling you guys a little bit about me. My name is Rebecca Castle-Hightower (Bekie for short) and I am a married, mom with 4 kids under the age of 10. I always wanted to be a vet of some sort but I had my first son kind of young so I focused on being a mom first. My husband and I have bred big dogs in the past and we decided we wanted to get back into breeding but with the young kids but we needed a "kid friendly" breed. So with a lot of research I found this GREAT breed called the French Bulldog. We decided to get one as a pet first and just fell in love! It was not hard for us to realize that we wanted more and that is how we started breeding again. We did not start with any given color in mind and now we have a little bit of everything because of it. We have a red fawn girl, 2 chocolate brindle girls, a tri pied girl and a fawn girl and we also have a red fawn male so far. We are planing on getting a few more girls and at least one more male so we can have a nice variety of colors. With this variety of colors we can lower our prices and help people that would not normally be able to get a high priced frenchie. In the years we have been doing this we have found that even in this bad economy the average french bulldogs still runs between $2500-$3500. With this info and the wide variety of colors we have we can offer our standard frenchies at a smaller price.
We offer our standard colored frenchies between $1500-$2500. Yes that is a whole $1000 LESS then the average frenchie breeder. We want to place our puppies in PET homes not BREEDER homes and that is why we offer them for so much less then our fellow breeders. Now don't get me wrong here, there are MANY breeders that feel the same way I do and are also selling there frenchies for the same price to PET homes. The only difference is that I am putting it out there for the world to read. I am also the kind of breeder that if I don't have what you are looking for I will pass your info off to a breeder friend of mine that does have what you are looking for. The idea is to place the right frenchie with the right owner.
I must stress when you are out there looking for your frenchie to please ask questions to ANY breeder you are looking to buy from. Don't buy from breeders that are willing to sell to pet stores or brokers. A reputable breeder will only sell to the person that is getting the dog not a person that is going to resell the dog. A reputable breeder will also have no problem answering any question you may through there way.
